DEAL FAIL: Groupon Sells Overpriced Vacuum Sealer

Groupon is selling the Magic Line Vacuum Sealer for R380 which includes a claimed 46% discount.

If you google VBS-540 you will find multiple retailers selling this same product for under R300 as the normal price.

90 People have already bought this from Groupon. I urge everyone to please check prices before buying anything from Groupon. History has shown us that they inflate their claimed retail and selling price to lure people into thinking that they are getting a bargain.

Takealot has the same item for R264. Even though they don't have stock it is an indication of the product price.

DEALS: Tefal Actifry Air Fryers for over 40% off

Dionwired is selling out their stock of the Tefal Actifry Air fryers.
The small one (1kg model) normally sells for R1750 and is now going for R1000.
This is a good bargain as the normal recommended retail prices compares to the retail price in UK so it was not brought in to SA with inflated prices.

I own a Philips airfryer are we use it all the time. It is a great and healthy alternative to deep fried chips. They can obviously be used for a lot of other recipes as well. It is particularly good at reheating, pies, samoosas, chicken, etc. It makes them crispy again unlike the microwave.

This is awesome for those still visiting the sale. A little sad for those that bought a lot of goods already.

Go visit the sale again, they constantly unpacking. My wife even found some Lego sets at the sale but they didn't last long.
