UPDATE - DEALS: MacBook Pro D314 i7 for R9999 (saving of R6199) @ Digital Planet

UPDATE - it has been confirmed at WWDC that Apple has released their new range of MacBook Laptops with the Pro getting a new retina display. This doesn't make the deal below bad because the new one will start at R16599 which is quite a bit more than the one on special below.

UPDATE 2: it seems as if Digital Planet is now out of stock. Keep an eye on other apple retailers. They might also be selling out their stock.

Get the Apple MacBook Pro i7 laptop that usually sells for R16599 at the iStore or online at Digicape is selling for R9999 at digital planet.
This is a huge saving over the normal retail price.

NOTE: I'm not 100% sure why this price has dropped but I have a feeling it is due to an Apple announcement at the WWDC today. They might be launching a new MacBook pro but nothing has been confirmed as yet.
