I stumbled onto a sale table at Dionwired Canal Walk where they were selling Microsoft peripherals for 50% discount.

Some of the items on sale are:

• Microsoft Wireless Keyboard and Mouse 2000 was R500 now R250

DEALS: R 1300 for a 3TB 3.5" external drive

DEAL ALTERNATIVE: Goodbye Deal Fail, hello Deal Alternative

Certain group buying sites has contacted me with their disapproval on my "Deal Fail" posts. I have decided that instead of posting "Deal Fails" I will post my recommendation on alternative products to what they are advertising at better prices and we will call it "Deal Alternative".

Note that these alternative deals are based on my opinion and experience with consumer product costs and in no way am I affiliated with the alternative deals that I post. If I am associated with the deal I will say so.

UPDATE - DEALS: Verbatim 2TB 2.5" USB3.0 Portable Hard Drive for R999

Update: I have just been informed by various sources that this is a misprint. It is suppose to be a 3.5" hard drive and not a 2.5" drive.

Game has a Verbatim 2TB USB powered USB3.0 Portable Hard Drive for R999.
Some users has expressed previously that Verbatim hard drives were not as robust as some of the other well known brands.
This one comes with a 2 year limited warranty.
