DEALS: Samsung P6200 Tablet on Special

Dionwired is offering the SAMSUNG P6200 7inch tablet for R3500.

While this is not an amazing deal it is the lowest price I found for this tablet which has 3G built in.
The next lowest was for R3800 at CATS Digital (LINK)
Note: This is the older model now and has been replaced with the TAB 2 range of Samsung tablets.

Dionwired online also has a 40" Samsung Series 5 LED Smart TV for R5000. This is a good price for a 40" TV with LAN, Smart and DLNA functions. (LINK)

DEAL FAIL: iPad 4 offering on Groupon more expensive than recommended retail

Groupon is selling the newly released iPad 4 for more than the recommended retail price.

Above is a snapshot of the prices that Groupon is offering on their iPad deal while the recommended retail price as reported by Mybraodband.co.za is shown below.

• 16 GB iPad 4 with Wi-Fi + Cellular: R6,499
• 32 GB iPad 4 with Wi-Fi + Cellular: R7,499

The 16, 32 and 64GB are all R900 above the retail price.

My suggestion, wait a week and buy it from Dionwired or the iStore at the recommended retail price.

And if you have discovery vitality you might even get more discount at the iStore, but not sure if that special is still applicable.

NOTE: Please take a look at their iPhone 5 deal as well, I have a suspicion that this is also overpriced but I am waiting for official pricing on the iPhone 5 before I can confirm this.
