EXPIRED - DEALS: Sony 40" Full HD LCD TV for R4999 @ Hifi Corp available till 14 August

Hifi Corporation has the Sony 40 inch 100cm full HD LCD 40BX420 on sale for R4999.99.
This is an excellent price for a Sony TV.
In the weekly round-up (previous post) there is a 40 inch Samsung for R4799 also available.
My preference is to the Samsung as it plays all the media formats straight from your portable hard drive or USB stick.
